DEVIN TOWNSEND plant die Veröffentlichung seiner neuesten Studiokreation “ The Moth“ für den 29 Mai. Eigentlich besteht die Veröffentlichung aus drei verschiedenen Teilen. Als da wären das Hauptalbum, “The Moth – The Afterlife“ für das sich DEVIN mit einem niederlänischen Chor und Orchester zusammengetan hat sowie “The Moth – The War“. Eine Aufnahme des Livemusicals, das im März 2025 zum ersten mal, aufgeführt wurde.
Heute stellt der Kanadier davon die neue Single `Prepare for War · The Big Snit` vor, zu der er auch ein Video produziert hat.
DEVIN TOWNSEND schreibt dazu:
„This is a track that essentially acts as a ‘soundtrack for an unmade movie’ …if you think of it as a ‘song’ its not really going to work, but if you think of it as a cinematic ‘experience’ that is representative of the final moments before a ‘fundamental change’ it’s a cool adventure.„
Außerdem hat TOWSEND vor wenigen Tagen bereits seine `Metamorphosis’ European & UK Tour für den Herbst angekündigt.
