Bostons Heavy Stoner / Fuzz Rocker Truppe GOZU plant für den 15. Mai die Veröffentlichung ihres sechsten Studioalbums das schlicht “VI“ betitwlt ist. Als ersten Appetizer schickt das Quartett, ihr unterhaltsames Video zur gar nicht mal zu unfröhlichen Uptemponummer `Banacek`.
GOZUs Sänger und Gitarrist Marc Gaffney beschreibt die Entstehung des neuen Albums so:
“We wanted something that really moved and hit a nerve, I was pretty roughed up emotionally while writing. I played guitar more in the past two years than ever before. I would work, go to the gym, come home, eat and then play guitar until I went to bed.”
