Dänemarks, seit 1997 umtriebiges, Old School Death Outfit THORIUM stellt an diesem Wochenende ihren rüden ersten Song des nächsten Studioalbums „Suburban Rot“ vor. Die vollständige Scheibe soll im Sommer erscheinen.
THORIUM Gitarrist und Songwriter JP Storm schreibt über `MG42`:
„It’s about terror and panic. My youngest son told me about the Hitlers Buzzsaw, which inspired me to write this song. The riffs are a concoction of pure grind, syncopation and unpredictable periods – with the aim of letting the listener experience the panic and accompanying disorientation that this machine gun’s oppressive and horrifying cadence of fire evokes“.
