EUROPE geben heute die Daten ihrer “The Final Countdown 40th Anniversary“ Tour 2026 bekannt, bei der die Hard Rocker um Fronter Joey Tempest, im September und Oktober, mit einem neuen Album und jeder Mange alter Hits, durch zwölf europäische Länder ziehen werden. So soll auch das “The Final Countdown“ Album in Gänze gespielt werden.
EUROPE schreiben auf den Social Media Kanälen:
“As most of you know, next year is 40 years since the release of our momentous third album “The Final Countdown”. To celebrate this anniversary, we will be playing 12 countries including UK, Netherlands, France, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Austria, Poland, Denmark, Sweden and Norway, taking in 19 concerts. The show will consist of many of our (and hopefully your) favorite songs from over the years, culminating in us playing The Final Countdown Album in its entirety.
In September we will also release our 12th studio record (title to be revealed soon), which we recorded at RMV studios in Stockholm last month with our great friend, producer Tom Dalgety (who has also produced albums by Ghost, The Pixies, Royal Blood and Opeth amongst many others).
Joey: “In a blink of an eye 40 years have passed and we’re about to perform TFC in full for only the second time in our career, together with other hits and special cuts from our upcoming album.
This will be amazing – we’re working on making the production and show match this very special occasion.”
