Hinter dem Namen N.Y.C. verbergen sich Tommy Bolan (ex-Warlock), Stet Howland (W.A.S.P./Metal Church) und Steve Unger von Metal Church, die zusammen, wie könnte es auch anders sein, dem Old School Heavy Metal frönen. Als zweiten Song überhaupt veröffentlichen sie den Titelltrack ihres „Built to Destroy“ getauften Longplayers. Die erste Auskopplung `Heavy As Hell` erschien vor gut vier Wochen.
