Lyrics:

Signing up for you, binging on yesterdays
Bringing down one another, only game you know how to play
Money can’t buy a future, but I got mine in hand
Steady and ready and timed to the music, all I gotta do is play

You have all the answers, every single time
Headin’ down the wrong road, never inside the lines

You’ll always wind up in the same gutter (repeat)

Freezin’ up a nightmare, you’re gonna find a use
Nobody ever forgets this stuff it’s like some kind of IOU
Like standin’ out in the road, can’t get outa your own way
Now you’re picking up where you left off and there’s nothing left to say

You’ll always wind up in the same gutter
You’ll always wind up in the same gutter
You can try but it won’t get much better
You’ll always wind up in the same gutter

Don’t you ever get up, don’t you ever got on
Don’t you ever get up, don’t you ever got on…yea!

Your looks they seem to fade a little bit every day
You got nothin’ but back stories but the movie was never made
The sun is always bright and the rain is always real
The dogs of winter have brought you down and they’re nipping at your heels ….come on!

You’ll always wind up in the same gutter – no matter who you are
You’ll always wind up in the same gutter – even if you think you’re a star
You can try but it won’t get much better – won’t get much better
You’ll always wind up in the same gutter
